Species List and Seed Availability

The Seed Requests module allows you to find seeds and locate seed suppliers, based on suitable species, to help meet your planting timelines. For planting-based projects, it is important to order seeds well in advance, as suppliers may only stock certain species at certain times of the year.

This module enables you to generate a species list based on your location and quickly assess seed availability for your project. The species list is drawn from a national model of native plant species ranges, using local environmental conditions and known species occurrence records, then refined using plant traits and seed availability – ensuring optimal suitability for your project.

A list of seed suppliers collecting and/or operating in your region will also be provided upon submission of your seed request.

Service Provider Marketplace

grovia’s Marketplace module will help connect users to service providers that are critical to the development of nature-based projects. Currently, grovia’s Seed Requests module identifies seed suppliers collecting and operating near your projects, and links you directly to their website for seed ordering.

In the near future, other key service providers will be added to grovia’s Marketplace module – including land management experts, ecological consultants and project auditors.
